Are you soon going to be turning 65? Are you 60+ and have been on Social Security Disability for 2 years?   Or maybe you are 65 and are having trouble understanding your Medicare benefits.   This presentation is for you.

While Medicare can be a confusing program with many options, it provides essential medical coverage for most Americans age 65 and over and many individuals with disabilities. Before making any decisions about Medicare coverage, it is a good idea to take some time to understand how it works and what it can do for you.  There are four different parts to Medicare, Parts A, B, C, & D and each cover a different healthcare need.  Some parts will even penalize you if you do not enroll at a specific time, so it is best to know what you need to do and when.  This presentation will help you understand the different options available to you and explain some of the benefits and drawbacks of each.

The presentation is sponsored by Senior Connections and will be held Thursday, April 21st, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Superior Public Library.  Brenda Kohel, Elder Benefit Specialist will be presenting the A, B, C, & D’s of Medicare.  There is no cost for this presentation but to ensure we have adequate materials available we are asking you to RSVP your plans to attend by calling Senior Connections at 715-394-3611.  If you are unable to attend a daytime presentation, let us know by calling the above phone number.  We will take your name and phone number and let you know when the next evening session will be held.

If you feel a visit with the Elder Benefit Specialist face to face would be more beneficial to you a one on one meeting can be arranged by calling Brenda at the phone number above.
