Nutrition Site Operator for the University of Wisconsin – Superior, Yellow Jacket Union (“Campus Café”): Monday through Friday 3:30- 6:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday 9:30am-Noon (7 days a week, 23 hours a week). Duties include welcoming senior diners to the UWS meal site, completes congregate diner participant form, keeps attendance roster, scans and inputs data using a tablet, safeguards Chartwells meal “punch-cards,” and presents them to Chartwells staff, receives participant donations for meals, and completes proper end-of-day paperwork, counting money and securing it for Senior Connections staff. Responsible for ensuring that sample meal is displayed for participants, and/or the sample meal information is displayed for participants to observe. Wage is $10.76 per hour during the school year.
Fill-in/on-call Nutrition Driver (2.25 hours a day when called in): Responsible for the timely delivery of meals to seniors throughout the community (may include Douglas County, vehicle provided). Skills required: ability to learn a delivery route; follow directions; interact with seniors; communicate clearly and effectively with clients and co-workers; and ability to maintain an accurate delivery log. The applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED/HSED), and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history. Wage range $9.32 - $10.87 / hr.
