Senior Connections would like to invite you on a bus trip for their annual “Fall Leaf Tour” on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Every year the agency charters a standard coach bus that is handicap accessible from LCS Coaches to take Seniors (60 years of age and older) to view the fall leaves.

The route is typically Superior to Carlton; Wrenshall; a quick stop at the “Brick Yard” for those who wish to purchase a cup of coffee, beverage, or piece of pie, and stretch their legs; then on to Hwy 23 to Gary, New Duluth; and home via Oliver. This trip is FREE, except for your purchases at the BrickYard.

We will begin picking up Seniors at 1:00 p.m. Scheduled pickup sites will be at the Superior Senior Center, Lund Hill (both Downtown and East End locations), Golden Apartments, Phoenix Villa and St. Mary’s Hall, Villa Rita and the Grand Central Plaza. We expect to return home around 4:45 p.m.

You need to make a reservation in advance to go on the tour. Please call Kim at Senior Connections, (715) 394-3611 to make your reservation or if you have any questions. Seating is limited so callas soon as possible.

Senior Connections, in partnership with Meals On wheels Association of America, is sponsoring March for Meals on, Tuesday March 15, 2006.  On this day we invite leaders from our community to  join us in delivering meals to our Home Delivered Meal Participants. This is a time to learn about this valuable program in our community and discover how essential nutrition programming is helping our seniors remain vibrant and independently.

If you are interested in Home delivered meals please call Janet, at Senior Connections, 715-394-3611.
